Cave diving di Germany
German cave diving is closely tied to the karst springs of the Swabian Alb, above all the Blautopf in Blaubeuren, whose Blauhöhle system has been surveyed to about 19 km. Exploration there is carried out by caving research groups rather than commercial operators.
Cara akses bekerja
Major karst springs and caves are not open for recreational cave diving. At the Blautopf, diving is limited to the research group ARGE Blautopf, which has held a diving permit since 1997, and the cave system is closed to visitors; neighbouring caves such as the Hessenhauhöhle are reserved for cave researchers.
