Budget

What will the diving cost?

A rough, honest band built from each destination's typical two-tank boat-dive price range — diving costs only, not flights or beds. Real quotes come from real operators; this gets you to the right order of magnitude.

What diving costs around the world

Bands are editorial planning ranges compiled per destination — liveaboard-only destinations are absent because per-dive pricing would misrepresent their package economics.

What the estimate includes

The destination's documented two-tank price band × your days and boat cadence, plus flat editorial bands for rental (US$25–45/day) and nitrox (US$5–12/tank) where selected. Marine-park fees, tips, gear servicing and courses are extra and vary too much to fake.

Squeeze the budget

Shore-diving destinations (Bonaire, Dahab) collapse the boat line entirely. Shoulder season cuts prices without always cutting quality — check each destination's month table before assuming.
