Privacy Policy
Effective: September 2026
What we collect
The Site keeps collection minimal. Standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) exist transiently for security and capacity. If you submit the contact form, we store what you send us. If you subscribe for updates, we store your email address until you ask us to delete it. The Ask-the-Data feature is rate-limited per IP; questions are processed to generate the answer and are not attached to any account or profile.
What stays in your browser
Preferences — interface language, dark mode, Guided/Expert view, and your ★ Saved list — are stored in your own browser (cookie and localStorage) and never sent to us as a profile. Clearing site data removes them.
Advertising cookies
If and when advertising is enabled, the Site would use Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads, including the DoubleClick cookie, which enables ad serving based on visits to this and other sites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and can learn more at Google's advertising policies. Where consent banners are legally required for such cookies, they will be shown before those cookies are set. No advertising cookies are set by us beyond the ad platform's own.
What we do not do
No accounts, no sale of personal data, no cross-site tracking pixels of our own, no marketing emails beyond the updates you explicitly signed up for.
Your choices
Email via the contact page to unsubscribe, correct, or delete anything you have submitted. EU/UK visitors: the legal basis for the minimal processing above is legitimate interest (site operation and security) and consent (subscriptions); you have the usual rights of access, rectification and erasure.
