DAN Europe
The European member of the International Divers Alert Network, founded in 1983, offering members 24-hour diving emergency assistance with diving medical officers, research on diving physiology, first aid education and dive insurance.
DAN Europe describes itself as a foundation working in diving safety since 1983, with a registered office in Ta'Xbiex, Malta, and a continental operations office in Roseto, Italy [1]. It is one of five independent, separately administered non-profit organisations (DAN America, DAN Europe, DAN Japan, DAN Southern Africa and DAN Asia Pacific) that make up the International Divers Alert Network (IDAN) [1].
