National Association for Cave Diving
A US cave diving organisation based in Macon, Georgia, focused on safety, education, conservation, service and exploration, with an online instructor directory.
The NACD gives its address as Macon, Georgia, and says its purpose is to help divers become safe cavern or cave divers and to screen out those who do not meet minimum standards; it lists safety, education, conservation, service and exploration as focus areas and states that it does not aim to encourage participation in cavern or cave diving [1]. It sells a Cavern/Cave Diver Student Workbook [2].
The NACD's public instructor directory lists instructors in several countries with specialities including Cavern, Introduction to Cave, Cave, Stage, DPV, Sidemount, Survey and rebreather cave [3]. NACD course standards were not found on the public pages opened for this reference, so no NACD course records are included here; the instructor and member areas may hold them.
