Cova de sa Gleda (entrance)
The main collapse entrance of the Gleda–Camp des Pou system, a large chamber with a skylight and an entrance lake on a private estate in Manacor. Closed by a metal door; diving only under research permits.
The Sala d'Entrada is a large collapse chamber up to 72 by 44 m, lit by a central skylight of 30 by 18 m and partly occupied by a lake. A masonry doorway, today closed by a metal door, separates the cave from the outside, and an old path once allowed a draught animal to descend to a water wheel on an artificial terrace overlooking the lake.
From the lake, the underwater Sala Francesc Ripoll and the Circuit dels Pirates lead into the wider flooded network. Two seasonal torrents drain into the collapse and, in heavy rain, carry sediment into the water.
البيئة
A sunlit collapse chamber with a fig grove and an entrance lake whose surface layer is brackish, becoming fully marine below about 11 m.
الظروف
Layered salinity with pycnoclines that shift seasonally; sediment influx after intense rain.
نطاقات اعتيادية من مصادر منشورة، لا ظروف آنية.
