Divje jezero (spring lake)
The Wild Lake near Idrija, a protected spring pool in a cliff-walled hollow; visitors may walk to it, but diving in the spring is reported to be prohibited after fatal accidents.
The lake lies in the Idrijca valley south of Idrija and is marked on maps as a natural curiosity. A cobble slope with tree trunks leads down to the gallery entrance at about 15 m.
The FFS fiche reports that dives in the spring are now prohibited following several deaths, so it is listed here for its exploration history rather than as a dive site.
The environment
Cold, deep spring water in a tectonic conduit; poor visibility reported by explorers.
