A historic silver mine with flooded workings that has been used for mine diving. The Norwegian cave divers' association reports it is currently not diveable because of problems with lift access.

Sala Silver Mine is one of the Swedish mines listed by the mine-diving club platform gruvdyk.se, which keeps separate member data policies for Sala Silvergruva and A-gruvan. The Norwegian cave divers' association notes that diving there is currently not possible because of problems with the lift used for access.
