Verify before booking Liveaboard schedules, itineraries, prices and even vessels change frequently. This profile is compiled from public information; confirm everything with the operator directly: underseahunter.com ↗

Routes: The larger of the Undersea Hunter vessels, running 10-night Cocos expeditions and, historically, occasional permit-dependent crossings to Malpelo. Argo is also known as the support ship for deep submersible work at Cocos.

Season: Sails most of the year; wet-season months concentrate the big schooling action at Cocos.

Character: Long-format expedition diving with research and submersible pedigree

Prices: Roughly $6,500-8,500 per expedition plus fees. Malpelo access and submersible programs come and go with permits and seasons; treat both as verify-first details with the operator.

Departures: Leaves from Puntarenas, Costa Rica; the crossing takes about a day and a half.
