Routes: Follows the national park's fixed dive-cruise itineraries centered on Wolf and Darwin islands, where hammerhead schools and, in season, whale sharks pass the cleaning stations. Land visits are limited under dive-vessel rules.

Season: Year-round: the June-November cool season brings whale sharks and rich water, December-May is warmer and calmer with more mantas.

Character: Big animals (hammerheads, whale sharks, rays) in strong currents

Prices: Expect $6,000-8,000 per week plus park entry and hyperbaric fees. Galápagos itineraries are set by the park authority and can be revised; confirm routing, fees and requirements with the operator.

Departures: Cruises turn around at Baltra or San Cristóbal via mainland Ecuador flights.
