Routes: One of the longest-serving liveaboards in eastern Indonesia, sailing since the early 1990s. Classic routes run Sorong loops through Raja Ampat and longer expeditions across the Banda Sea's ring-of-fire islands.

Season: Raja Ampat October-April; Banda Sea crossings mostly in the transition months of March-April and September-November.

Character: Expedition-style reef diving with decades of local knowledge

Prices: Mid-to-upper rates for the region, generally $400-550 per night. As with all Indonesian schedules, itineraries and start ports are revised every season; verify with the operator.

Departures: Most trips turn around in Sorong or Ambon.
