Grotduiken in Cuba
Cuba's limestone coasts hold water-filled cenotes, several of which are visited by snorkellers and divers. In Matanzas province, Cueva de los Peces near Playa Girón on the Bay of Pigs coast is described as a deep cenote linked to the sea, and Cueva de Saturno near Varadero is a fresh-water cenote cave with shallow submerged galleries. Published, verifiable information on Cuban cave diving is limited.
Hoe toegang werkt
No official national rules for cave diving were found for this edition. The documented sites operate as visitor attractions with on-site services; dive access, operators and any permit requirements should be confirmed locally.
