Cave diving in Slovenia
The FFS-hosted cave-diving catalogue lists more than a dozen Slovenian sites, including flooded springs such as Divje jezero near Idrija, which Slovenian divers began exploring in 1957 and which later drew international deep-diving teams.
How access works
Sources consulted give site-by-site information only. At Divje jezero the lake is a protected natural site open to visitors, but diving in the spring is reported as prohibited after fatal accidents.
A general summary; each site page gives its own dated access information.
