Entrance to the former Sistema Nohoch Nah Chich, absorbed into Sac Actun in 2007; known for delicate stalactites and used by intro-to-cave and full-cave divers. A landowner-requested cavern line installed in late 2024 caused controversy within CREER.

Nohoch Nah Chich was surveyed as its own system until January 2007, when QRSS recorded its final connection to Sac Actun through the Por One link. Under the Jungle describes delicate stalactites and a formation called Heaven's Gate, and says the area is accessible to intro-to-cave and full-cave divers rather than presenting it as a cavern-tour site.

In January 2025 CREER reported that a cavern line had been installed at Nohoch at the landowners' request. Some committee members helped place it; several others saw this as against CREER's conservation principles and resigned, and the committee said in hindsight the decision should have gone to a public vote. Nohoch does not appear on CREER's list of rated cenotes for guided cavern tours as viewed in October 2026.
