Lights only for certified cavern or cave divers: Ginnie Springs operator rule [1] (No-lights rule for other divers at the Devil's springs.). These categories are the named scheme's own; they describe the training a site calls for.

The middle spring of Ginnie Springs' Devil's Spring System: a round opening about 6 metres across and as deep, with a small decorated cavern at the bottom.

Devil's Eye is a round spring opening, about 20 feet (6 metres) across and about as deep, partway along the Devil Spring run at Ginnie Springs. At the bottom is the entrance to a small cavern that the park describes as intricately decorated (a cavern is the part of a cave still lit by daylight from the entrance).

As at the other Devil's springs, Ginnie Springs allows only certified cavern or cave divers to carry lights here, which keeps untrained divers out of the overhead areas.

The environment

Clear spring water in a round basin leading to a small cavern and the high-flow Devil's cave system.
