The entrance pool of a small brackish cave on Mactan Island, used locally for bathing; about 258 m of passage was mapped in 2016, narrowing to low tunnels beyond the first 40 m.

The entrance pool sits close to the Mactan circumferential highway and is used by local residents for bathing and recreation. Beyond about the first 39 m the passages are narrow with low ceilings, according to the 2016 survey by the Filipino Cave Divers.

The survey team flagged road run-off as a risk because no barrier separates the highway from the entrance.

The environment

Brackish water in narrow, low limestone passages.
