4 阶段
通常的阶段
1. 裂隙潜水
在入口附近的自然光照区内，对距离和深度有严格限制。
2. 洞穴入门
在连续导向绳上向黑暗区域迈出第一步，限制严格。
3. 全洞穿越
复杂导航（跳跃、缺口、环形路线）及更长、更深的潜水。
4. 高级洞穴
探索级技能，包括测绘、长距离穿越和分段供气。
侧挂、循环呼吸器、水下推进器及测绘课程与各阶段并列开设，名称、顺序和限制因机构而异。
