Iceland offers one dive experienced almost nowhere else: swimming between continents. Silfra, a fissure in Þingvellir National Park where the North American and Eurasian plates pull apart, fills with glacial meltwater filtered through lava rock for decades before it seeps in at 2-4 °C, so clear that visibility is measured in the length of the fissure rather than meters. Divers in drysuits drift its cathedral-blue corridors over cobalt cracks dropping away below. 찾아가는 방법: Fly into Keflavík (KEF) from Europe or North America; Silfra is roughly an hour's drive from Reykjavík in Þingvellir National Park, where operators meet divers at the site car park. Strýtan requires getting to Akureyri in the north by domestic flight or a day's drive.

언어: Icelandic is the national language; English is spoken essentially everywhere, and all dive operations run in it.
