Santo dive operators (Allan Power Dive Tours legacy)

An area overview of the Luganville dive scene rather than one business. Several small operators and resort dive shops guide the SS President Coolidge — the 200-meter converted liner lost to friendly mines in 1942, entered from shore and dived in sections over many days — plus Million Dollar Point's dumped war machinery and reef sites. The late Allan Power guided the Coolidge for over four decades and trained much of the local guiding tradition. Two crew died in the sinking; guides treat the wreck accordingly, and its deeper sections demand appropriate training.
