The dive is a precision exercise - enter at the guide's word in the brief slack, tour the carpeted walls, and be out before the channel resumes. Operators cancel without apology when the exchange is too big. Done right, it is a masterpiece; done wrong, it is not survivable. Local expertise is not optional.
