The Sugar Wreck is the flattened skeleton of an old sailing vessel lost on the Little Bahama Bank more than a century ago, its ribs and plates spread across sand so shallow that snorkelers see everything. What it lacks in structure it repays in sheer biomass: the wreckage concentrates the bank's fish life for hundreds of meters around, so grunts, snappers, and porkfish swarm the iron in curtains, with nurse sharks and rays nosing the edges. Night dives here are a Grand Bahama tradition, when the wreck's residents change shift and hunters move in over the grass.
