Cirkewwa Arch & Reef

Cirkewwa is Malta's everything site: training grounds in the sheltered shallows, a photogenic natural arch standing off the wall in the mid-teens to twenties, caverns where light ripples across the ceilings, and the P29 and Rozi wrecks a navigational swim away. The reef itself earns the visit — moray eels and octopus keep regular addresses, barracuda hang off the point in season, and a small shrine statue of the Madonna at 18 m collects fin-taps of respect. Because everything radiates from easy entries, divers of any level can build a day here without repeating a route.

Topografya: Limestone reef terraces, a sand-floored amphitheater, caverns and a freestanding arch dropping toward sand at 30 m+

Giriş: Purpose-built entry points with ladders near the Gozo ferry terminal; parking, rinse and training areas make this Malta's busiest shore-diving hub.

Tehlikeler: Ferry and dive-boat traffic beyond the point; surge at the entries when northerlies blow.

Koruma: Managed as a marine park with maintained infrastructure; heavy use makes individual buoyancy discipline matter more, not less.
