The Lesleen M is the wreck Saint Lucia sank on purpose, a fifty-meter island freighter scuttled by the fisheries department in 1986 to seed an artificial reef off Anse Cochon, and the plan worked. She sits upright in twenty meters, fully colonized: encrusting sponge in ember colors, arrow crabs on the rails, soldierfish in the shaded holds, and a resident cloud of sergeant majors above the mast. Openings are wide and bright enough for trained divers to slip through the cargo spaces, while newer divers can tour everything worthwhile outside the hull inside comfortable no-deco limits.
