Cave diving in Sweden
Overhead diving in Sweden is dominated by flooded historic mines in the Bergslagen mining region rather than natural caves. The best documented are the commercially run Tuna-Hästberg mine in Dalarna, with more than 7 km of permanent line, and the club-run Långban mine in Värmland, both with cold (4-6 °C), very clear water.
How access works
Mines are private or museum-linked properties with their own access systems. Tuna-Hästberg sells guided and technical dives through its operator; Långban and some other mines are dived only by registered club members through gruvdyk.se, with keyholders supervising first dives. Sala Silver Mine was reported not diveable at the time of checking.
A general summary; each site page gives its own dated access information.
