Kukulkan is the neighbouring entrance to Chac Mool in Sistema Chac-Mol and shares its management and rules. CREER rates it Level 1 (Starter), its easiest category for guided cavern tours, describing such sites as shallow, with few depth changes, wide passages and constant natural light. Cavern and cave diving are both listed as open.
The Kukulkan cavern line is on CREER's list of approved locations for cave training drills. CREER reported that cameras are not allowed and that the entrance fee rose to 300 pesos on 1 June 2025.
