QRSS list entry reported by A. Matthes, 01/2000. QRSS long and deep lists.

A 9,193 m underwater cave on the QRSS list (figure from 2000) entered through Cenote Chac Mool and Cenote Kukulkan, both used for guided cavern tours and designated cave training lines.

Sistema Chac-Mol is the cave behind two neighbouring cenotes, Chac Mool and Kukulkan, both run as dive sites. Operators describe a shallow cavern route of around 12 m with a halocline, and longer penetration for cave-trained divers.

CREER rates Kukulkan as a Level 1 (Starter) cenote and Chac Mool, entered via the Little Brother cenote, as Level 2 (Intermediate). Both cavern lines, plus the main downstream and upstream cave lines, appear on CREER's list of places where cave instructors may run training drills.

The QRSS length of 9,193 m was reported in January 2000 and is likely to be out of date. CREER reported that the landowner raised the entry fee to 300 pesos from 1 June 2025 and does not allow cameras.

Entrances and dive sites

QRSS lists 9 cenotes. Chac Mool (via Little Brother) and Kukulkan are the operated dive entrances.
