This entry is an area overview of the Coron Town dive scene rather than a profile of a single business. A cluster of centers along the waterfront runs daily wooden-boat trips to the Japanese supply fleet sunk in September 1944 (Okikawa Maru, Irako, Kogyo Maru and neighbors), plus Barracuda Lake's thermoclines. Wreck depths from about 10 to 40 meters suit everyone from newer divers to penetration-trained teams; several ships were lost with crew aboard, and respectful conduct is expected.
