Ambrosio is Santa Maria's summer ritual. Boats moor over the bank, divers slip into blue water at 10–15 m, and sicklefin devil rays come to them — long trains of animals banking around the group, close enough to fill a wide-angle frame without any pursuit. Jacks, bonito and the odd loggerhead turtle pass through the same water column. The dive itself is technically simple; the discipline is staying still, staying shallow and letting the animals set the terms.
您此行的高光时刻: Devil-ray trains at snorkel depth, passing loggerheads, easy profile with big-animal payoff
地形地貌: Submerged volcanic plateau; the shallow dive takes place in open water above it
入水方式: A short offshore run north of Santa Maria; divers hold a line or drift shallow over the bank.
入水前须知
危险因素: Open water over depth, boat traffic during peak season, current on spring tides.
保育: Operators run no-touch, no-chase encounters; keep to the group's depth and let rays close the distance themselves.
