Playa Kalki

Below the cliffs at Westpunt, Playa Kalki's little cove opens onto the slope locals nicknamed Alice in Wonderland for its outsized, dreamlike coral formations, mounds and pillars that grow denser the deeper the terrace rolls. The shallows serve snorkelers and new divers generously, while the slope rewards a slow diagonal descent past sponges and gorgonians to sand at thirty meters where garden eels retreat in waves. Being the far end of the island, it stays calmer and clearer than the central coast, and the beach bar at the top of the stairs handles the debrief.
