Dangleben's Pinnacles

Five volcanic heads break from the edge of the drowned Soufriere caldera, and diving them feels like flying between towers. Creole wrasse pour over the saddles in violet torrents thick enough to shadow the reef, barrel sponges the size of bathtubs stud the flanks, and every crack hosts cleaning stations busy with banded shrimp and juvenile hogfish. The current that feeds all this color asks for decent buoyancy and an attentive guide, and on the strong days the site converts into a fly-by, with divers tucked into eddies watching the wrasse rivers bend around the stone.
