A short run up the coast from St George's, Flamingo Bay layers its color the way its name promises: sea fans and plumes waving over orange elephant ear and barrel sponges, with fairy basslets and wrasse packing the water column above. The slope eases down from a snorkel-friendly shelf to twenty-five meters, and its soft, forgiving profile makes it Grenada's default training and check-out reef without feeling like a compromise. Guides with sharp eyes produce seahorses on the deeper sponge patches, and night dives here swap the wrasse clouds for hunting morays and slipper lobsters.
