A short run from the main sandbank, Fish Tales adds structure to the shark show. A low reef ridge gives the site its fish life, with grunts and snappers packed into the undercuts, and the same tigers and lemon sharks that work the bank cruise here against an actual coral backdrop. Photographers like it precisely for that reason: a striped flank passing over sponges and gorgonians reads differently than one over bare sand. Reef sharks are bolder here, and the slightly deeper profile makes the passes feel closer to a wild encounter than an arranged one.
