Samadai earned its Dolphin House name from the pod of spinner dolphins that rests in its lagoon after nights of offshore hunting, and it earned its rulebook from the years when unmanaged crowds nearly drove them off. Since 2004 the reef has run on a zoning system - a closed core where the dolphins sleep, a swim zone where snorkelers wait for the pod to choose contact, and dive zones on the outer reef - with daily visitor caps and fees that fund the wardens. The diving proper is a pleasure in its own right: pinnacle clusters south of the lagoon, swim-through caverns lit by noon sun, anemone cities in the shallows. Seeing spinners underwater on scuba is uncommon; hearing them through the water while you dive is routine and quietly thrilling.
その瞬間のために: Resting spinner dolphins met on their terms; cavern swim-throughs; a working example of managed marine tourism.
地形: Horseshoe reef sheltering a shallow lagoon, with coral pinnacles and small caverns on the outer edges
エントリー: A short boat run southeast of Marsa Alam port; the reserve operates zoned areas with a closed dolphin rest zone at the lagoon's heart.
エントリー前に知っておこう
危険生物・リスク: Surface boat activity around the lagoon entrances; sun exposure during long snorkel waits.
許可証&ルール: Managed reserve with daily visitor caps and a per-person fee, booked through operators.
保全: The zoning is not decorative: the closed core is the pod's bedroom. Operators breaking the rules lose access.
