Nassau's famous feed happens on a patch of sand near the edge of the Tongue of the Ocean. Divers kneel shoulder to shoulder while a feeder in chainmail dispenses fish from a steel box, and thirty or more Caribbean reef sharks orbit the circle in layered traffic, close enough that their pectoral fins brush exhaled bubbles. It is choreographed, unapologetically commercial, and consistently breathtaking; nowhere else in the Atlantic puts this many sharks this close with this little effort. Pair it with the adjacent wall dive, where the same animals patrol unbaited against deep blue.
