Manta Point (Nosy Be)

Local operators run a deeper offshore bank west of Nosy Be under the name Manta Point, dived mainly in the spring season when plankton draws big filter feeders to the area. Mantas visit its cleaning stations, though far less predictably than at famous stations elsewhere in this ocean — this is a hopeful dive rather than a scheduled appointment, and honest shops sell it that way. The bank itself holds reef sharks on some days, passing eagle rays, and solid fish life over the coral heads.
