The Odyssey is Roatan's big wreck, a ninety-meter island freighter sunk for divers in 2002 after a fire ended her working life. Scale is her personality: the hull runs longer than most divers' entire no-deco window at depth, so tours pick a zone — the towering stern castle one day, the cavernous forward holds the next. Silversides pour through companionways in season, barrel sponges have staked out the rails, and the superstructure's upper decks sit shallow enough for a comfortable mid-dive. Together with El Aguila down the road, she gives Roatan a legitimate two-wreck itinerary.
