Barracuda Point

On the right morning, Barracuda Point is the single most astonishing fish encounter in Southeast Asia. Chevron barracuda in their thousands coil into a rotating cylinder over the shelf, a structure with apparent architecture that divers can hang beside until air, not interest, runs out. The supporting bill would headline anywhere else: grey reef sharks strafing the wall, whitetips stacked on the sand channel, bumphead parrotfish bulldozing past at dawn, turtles at nuisance density, and jacks mirroring the barracuda's geometry. Current makes the show and demands respect; guides read it, and divers follow their read.
