Annie's is the Rainbow Reef distilled to a single scene: a huddle of bommies so densely dressed in soft coral that the underlying rock is a rumor. Each head is its own neighborhood — anthias mobbing the up-current face, lionfish tucked under overhangs, anemones with defended clownfish at the corners — and the sand channels between them let divers circle slowly without touching anything. Because it is compact and moderately shallow, the site fills the second or third dive of a Taveuni day perfectly, when long bottom time matters more than adrenaline. Photographers routinely burn an entire dive on one bommie.
您此行的高光时刻: Soft-coral density at close range; anthias swarms against blue water; relaxed profiles with time to work each head.
地形地貌: A cluster of large coral heads rising from a sand and rubble floor in the Somosomo Strait
水流: Enough flow to feed the corals; rarely a fight.
入水方式: Moored or live-boat drop beside the coral heads, dived at gentler phases of the tide.
入水前须知
危险因素: Mild current between the heads; scorpionfish sit camouflaged where hands are tempted to land.
保育: The bommies' entire surface is living — settle only on the sand between them and watch gauge consoles and cameras on the swim-arounds.
