Amos Rock

Amos Rock earns its reputation on color. The South Atoll wall here carries some of the park's lushest dressing, with oversized gorgonian fans, black coral bushes, and soft coral crowding every terrace, all patrolled by Napoleon wrasse that seem genuinely curious about divers. Reef sharks pass below, turtles work the shoulder, and clouds of anthias give the shallows a constant shimmer for the safety stop. It is less about adrenaline than composition, the dive photographers save their wide lenses for, and a reliable choice when the corners are running too hard elsewhere.
