Delsan Wreck

Named for the remains of a small vessel awash on the southeast reef flat, Delsan is dived for the corner below rather than the metal above. Many guides call it the fishiest station in the park. Jacks and chevron barracuda wheel in silver towers off the point, dogtooth tuna slice through the fusilier clouds, and grey reef sharks stack in the current line, with tiger shark and whale shark cameos reported most seasons. Divers hook into position figuratively, never physically, hold the corner while the parade passes, then drift the wall to a blue-water pickup.

Topografya: Reef corner and wall; scattered wreckage on the reef flat

Akıntı: An exposed corner of South Atoll; expect real current and blue-water hangs when the schools move off the point.

Tehlikeler: Strong current, possible down-currents past the corner, and a wall that keeps going.

Koruma: Reef hooks and gloves are prohibited in the park; position with fins and trim only.
