E.T. is Beqa Lagoon's soft-coral funhouse: a pair of bommies whose meeting point has eroded into tunnels and swim-throughs, every ceiling upholstered in color. Divers thread the passages in single file, torch beams sweeping across soft corals that feed even in the lagoon's gentle flow, then spiral the outsides where anemones and their clownfish stake out the ledges. Lionfish drift under the arches and nudibranchs reward slow eyes on the walls. Protected from most weather, it is the lagoon's dependable second act after a morning with the sharks — calm, colorful, and generous with bottom time.
Le moment pour lequel vous venez: Coral-lined tunnels and arches; anemone fields with clownfish; easy conditions that let photographers linger.
Topographie: Twin coral pinnacles rising from the lagoon floor, split by tunnels and archways
Entrée: Moored inside the lagoon; sheltered on most winds.
À savoir avant de plonger
Dangers: Confined passages require basic comfort; silt in the tunnels if the group stacks up.
Conservation: Swim-through ceilings are living coral centimeters above your tank — perfect trim or go around the outside.
