The site takes its name from an old admiralty-pattern anchor wedged fast into the coral at recreational depth, a relic of some long-forgotten visit that the reef has spent decades absorbing. Around it, Osprey's western rim is carved into tunnels and chimneys that open onto the outer wall, so a single dive strings together cathedral light in the swim-throughs, a portrait stop at the anchor, and a drift along the drop with the blue stretching below. In forty-meter visibility the whole circuit feels weightless, and whitetips dozing in the cuts complete the postcard.
