Santa Rosa Wall

Santa Rosa is the drift dive Cozumel regulars measure others against. The wall's lip arrives fast, then the current sweeps you along a face cut with swim-throughs and undercuts where sponges grow in slow-motion chandeliers. Big barrel sponges lean out over the void, horse-eye jacks hang off the edge, and in winter spotted eagle rays commute along the drop. The trick is pacing: duck into a tunnel, let the group stream past, rejoin. Depth discipline matters, because the bottom of everything here is a very long way down.

지형: A sheer wall lip at 15–20 m with tunnels and overhangs, falling past recreational depth into blue.

조류: One of Cozumel's faster rides on spring tides; the current usually carries you north along the face.

진입: Negative or quick descents are common when the current runs; regroup at the wall lip.
