The bay at Teluk Kembahu, universally shortened to TK, is a production line for Lembeh's headline acts. Its slightly silty, organics-rich sand suits burrowers and ambushers: this is one of the strait's most dependable areas for mimic octopus and wonderpus, hairy frogfish at every size from lint to fist, and, in season, the Lembeh sea dragon hovering over the rubble. Banggai cardinalfish, translocated from their native archipelago decades ago, hang above urchins in the shallows. Village sounds filter down through the water, boats creak overhead, and somehow the shabbiest-looking seafloor in North Sulawesi keeps producing portfolio animals. Guides usually split it across TK 1, 2, and 3 as conditions dictate.
Momen yang Anda nantikan: Mimic octopus and wonderpus; hairy frogfish; Banggai cardinalfish in the shallows.
Topografi: Dark sand bay in front of a fishing village, divided by guides into the numbered TK sub-sites.
