Jina Pass

Jina is Kinasi's understudy and, on its day, the better dive. The southern pass moves less water, so its walls hold delicate growth the main channel cannot keep — fans, soft coral tufts, sponge in quantity — while still pulling in channel traffic: snapper walls, trevally raids, turtles, and rays in the chutes. Groups drift the wall on the making tide, tucking into undercuts to let the flow slide past. Because most operators default to Kinasi, Jina often comes up empty of other divers, and guides save it for the tides when it runs clean and green-free.
