Kimud Shoal

Kimud is Monad's wilder sibling, another drowned islet nearby whose claim on divers is seasonal and less certain, which makes the payoffs land harder. From roughly December to April, schools of scalloped hammerheads pass the shoal in open water, and dives become disciplined blue hangs off the rim, eyes sweeping until shapes assemble out of the haze, sometimes a handful, sometimes a wall of sharks. Off-season and off-mornings, Kimud serves as an alternate thresher venue and a deep, quiet reef. Bring patience and air discipline; the blue gives up its residents on its own schedule.
