Hanging Gardens

Hanging Gardens takes Sipadan's wall and tilts it past vertical, so terrace after terrace of overhang drips with soft coral in grays, mauves, and dusty oranges, growth hanging downward like planted balconies. It is the island's texture dive. Photographers work the ceilings for longnose hawkfish and flatworms while turtles rest on the terraces at eye level and leaf-shaped batfish hover in the recesses. Sharks pass wider here than at the points, in less of a hurry. When current elsewhere turns the corners feral, this stretch usually stays civilized, which makes it the connoisseur's mid-morning pick.

Tehlikeler: Overhangs complicate direct ascent in spots; otherwise benign by Sipadan standards.

İzinler & kurallar: Permit day required.

Koruma: The overhang growth is slow-growing and brittle; exhaled bubbles and fins both leave marks, so trim matters.

Nitrox: Burada değer: profiller, nitrox'un no-stop süresini anlamlı ölçüde uzattığı (ve bunu kullanacak eğitimle birlikte) aralıkta yer alıyor.
