The Office

The Office is Tofo's everyday reef — the site guides reach for when the swell argues against the deep runs — and its name has become the local joke about where everyone spends their working hours. The terrain is ledgy and generous: honeycomb morays jutting from the cuts, lionfish and scorpionfish on the overhangs, anemonefish colonies, octopus in the potholes, and green turtles grazing the algae turf. Devil rays and the odd manta transit overhead, a reminder that all of Tofo shares one plankton conveyor. As a second dive after Manta Reef or a first sea dive on this coast, it fits exactly.
