Malayan Wreck

The rusting hulk stranded high on the reef flat, all that remains of a fishing vessel wrecked decades ago, serves as the landmark; the diving happens on the wall beneath it. Blacktip reef sharks hunt the ankle-deep shallows around the wreckage, visible from the tender before you even roll in, while the drop-off below carries turtles, marauding trevally, and dense soft coral. Snorkel-depth shallows grade into serious wall within meters, so groups spread vertically to taste. It is a fine second or third dive of the day, gentler than the corners but rarely dull.
