Turtles rest on the shelves at improbable angles, Napoleon wrasse make wide inspection passes, and the fan gardens in the twenty-to-thirty-meter band repay slow searches with pygmy seahorses. The reef crest above buzzes at safety-stop depth, sending divers up through clouds of damselfish and anthias to finish. Visibility on Tomia's outer reefs regularly stretches past thirty meters, giving the whole structure a stage-lit clarity. Among a strong local field, it is many guides' pick for the signature wall.
